Hed Kandi take new direction on Destroy the Disco

As the old adage goes, you always hurt the ones you love... and Destroy the Disco, the double album from Hed Kandi out on 2nd November, sees the record label take its most treasured possession, Disco, and sabotage it to within an inch of recognition.
This brand new compilation is all about the deconstruction of the traditional disco sound. Cut up, filtered, dirtily dub-ified in places, bolstered by big bomb-blast basslines, re-worked and re-packaged as something twitchier, edgier and shockingly filthy. It is the sound that shook the foundations of festivals over the summer.
Tracks and remixes from the likes of Fake Blood, Riva Starr, Alex Metric, Kissy Sell Out, Simian Mobile Disco, Example, Prodigy and Sebastian Ingrosso make this the most audacious album that Hed Kandi has ever put together, and presents a distinct pitch shift in the brand’s musical direction.
