Dr.-Dre
Dr. Dre has declared that he wants Jay-Z to record guest vocals on his long-awaited new album Detox.

The record, due in early 2010, is already believed to feature collaborations with T.I., Lil Wayne and Nas.

The rapper told
MTV News that he is targeting Jay-Z, who previously co-wrote the lyrics for his hit single 'Still D.R.E.', following the success of his recent album The Blueprint 3.

"Well, actually, Jay-Z's just been in the studio doing some writing," he said. "Hopefully I'll get him to perform on the record. Jay, come holler."
