Beyonce postpones Malaysia gig after 'immoral' claims

BEYONCE KNOWLES
The 'Sweet Dreams' singer reportedly decided to delay taking her 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' tour – originally due to arrive in capital Kuala Lumpur on October 25 - to the conservative country after the Malaysian Islamic Party lodged a complaint about her "Western sexy performance".

Show organiser Marctensia confirmed the concert had been postponed indefinitely, but denied Beyonce had given in to religious pressures.

A statement read: "The postponement was solely the decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons."

Malaysian law requires female artists to cover up from shoulder to knee, with no cleavage on display.

Katie Holmes' daughter burst into tears at a Beyonce concert tuesday night

Three-year-old Suri Cruise - Katie's daughter with husband Tom Cruise - was initially thrilled as she sat with her mother behind velvet ropes in the general admission section of the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia.

But when Beyonce took to the stage to perform her hit 'Crazy In Love', Suri started crying, hiding her face in Katie's coat to escape the bright lights and noise.

As soon as the number was over, Katie and Suri hurried out of the stadium, returning 15 minutes later with a pair of industrial ear-muffs for the toddler.

A source said: "We were all a bit shocked when they left after the first song, but they were back before long, with Suri wearing a huge pair of earmuffs.

"She was much happier after that, and clapped and danced to the rest of the concert."

Beyonce changes Oz tour dates

BEYONCE KNOWLES
BEYONCE had to push back the start of her Australian tour because of scheduling conflicts.

The singer was due to take her I Am... tour to Oz with a show in Brisbane on 12 September this year.

But she had to re-organise the dates so she will begin the tour in Melbourne on 15 September.

In a statement, she apologised for the delay and said it was down to an "unforeseen change in her international schedule".

The reshuffling of the concerts means fans in Brisbane will be able to see the original opening concert on 20 September but the second show due to take place on 13 September has been cancelled.

Sydney will lose one of Beyonce's three shows, with Beyonce canceling her planned performance at the city's Acer Arena on 20 September.
